About This Tour
Most mountain ranges build gradually. Not the Tetons. These peaks explode from the valley floor—no foothills, no gentle approach—rising 7,000 vertical feet in one of the most dramatic mountain fronts in North America. It's a geological anomaly that creates views found nowhere else on Earth.
This GPS-triggered audio tour covers the roads of Grand Teton National Park, from the famous viewpoints along the highway to the historic ranches of Mormon Row and the shores of Jenny Lake. You'll learn why these mountains look the way they do, and the stories of those drawn to their shadow.
