About This Tour
Going-to-the-Sun Road isn't just a drive—it's an engineering miracle. Blasted and carved into sheer cliff faces in the 1930s, this 50-mile route crosses the Continental Divide through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in North America. Turquoise lakes, thousand-foot waterfalls, and alpine meadows await around every switchback.
This GPS-triggered audio tour covers Going-to-the-Sun Road from both entrances, plus additional park roads. You'll hear the stories of the Blackfeet Nation, the workers who built this impossible road, and why these mountains are called the Crown of the Continent.
