About This Tour
Despite its name, Bryce isn't actually a canyon—it's a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved into Utah's Paunsaugunt Plateau. The "Pink Cliffs" have been sculpted by erosion into fins, windows, slot canyons, and thousands of spires called hoodoos, creating mazes tinted with colors too numerous to name.
This GPS-triggered audio tour covers Bryce's 18-mile scenic road from the four famous overlooks near the entrance to Rainbow Point at the southern end. At nearly 8,000 feet, this high-altitude wonderland also offers world-class stargazing after dark.
